We are pleased to announce that less than a year after winning our bronze Eco Church award, Uppingham Parish Church has managed to acheive the silver award. This is a brilliant achievement and is down to the hard work of Christobel Price and her Eco Church group of hard-working volunteers.
This is just another step towards the church becoming ecologicaly friendly it attempt to stop the damage that is happening to our world.
The award was presented by High Sheriff of Rutland, Richard Cole.
