The Parish Church hosted three different services across the first Sunday in Lent with Book of Common Prayer at 8AM, informal Come Rejoice at 1045AM and Choral Evensong at 3.30PM enabling worshippers to attend the style with which they are most comfortable ... some people attended two different services during the day whilst others attended all three.
Our 8AM service also enabled us to celebrate the 90th birthday of Kath Buzzard with flowers and the congregation singing "Happy Birthday". Kath was married in the Uppingham Parish Church on her 21st birthday in 1957.
