The High Sheriff of Rutland, Richard Cole, visited Uppingham's Church of England Primary School and spoke to their assembly about his role in the County as The King's representative for law and order, supporting the voluntary sector in improving the lives of people in our community and encouraging young people to make good life choices and a positive contribution in whatever they choose to do.
Richard was happy to take loads of great questions from the children on all sorts of subjects.
He thanked Headteacher, Mrs Exton, for her warm welcome and inviting him to visit the school.
