Uppingham marked Mothering Sunday with a service led by The Venerable John Ellis.
Hilary had organised a busy team of ladies on Saturday morning who created posies of Easter flowers for mothers and grandmothers attending the service - Rev Peter Holmes joined the group in church as they created the gifts.
The posies were blessed at our Sunday service and shared amongst our congregation in gratitude for the care and guidance of all mothers.
We were also delighted that Elaine joined Nicky in our team of servers and we wish her well in the future.
