Rector Allison summed up a fantastic collaboration between all the churches that serve our communities ... "Our Harvest celebration was truly ecumenical, organised by Churches Together in Uppingham and Belton and bringing Christians from across our different churches together in worship and thanksgiving. It was a lovely reminder that, although we may worship in different places and traditions, we are one family in Christ. Thank you, too, to everyone involved in our Harvest Evensong in Uppingham, which brought such a full and joyful day to a beautiful close."
Allison added ... "A huge thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make our celebrations such a joyful occasion. Particular thanks must go to everyone at Belton Church, who worked tremendously hard coordinating Sunday’s service and the Harvest Lunch which followed. The lunch was a resounding success, and the warmth of the welcome and hospitality was very much appreciated."
